The Sabbiarelli are made from recycled material. During the extraction of the large blocks of white marble in the quarries in Carrara, small pieces come off, unusable for traditional processing. These scraps are collected, ground, colored with ecological water-based pigments and filled into the Sabbiarelli dosing pens. In combination with the special adhesive sheets on which the drawings are printed and cut, glittering marble sand images are created. Special non-toxic water-based pigments are used for coloring the sand. They do not mask the glossy effect thanks to the crystalline, extremely radiant nature of white Carrara marble.

And this is how it is done:

Use the scrapers included in the set to gradually remove the foil from the pre-glued and pre-cut motifs. Place the motif in the paper tub and sprinkle the exposed motifs with colored sand. Now spread a little with your fingers and press on. Put the sand residue back. Then peel off the next film and sprinkle with sand. Thus, piece by piece, a wonderful picture with a glossy effect is created.
